What a wonderful day!

Our summer picnic was everything I had hoped for and more.  The food was delicious.  Take a look at this beautiful salad Susan made.
Susan's Cold Asparagus Salad--Yum!
Jill's Honey Oatmeal Rolls
Pauline picked cherries from her orchard.
Donna's quilts were amazing and she is such a delightful person.  Here are just a few quilts.  You can see many more on her blog.
Broderie de Marseille Petassoun

Perfect condition doll quilt

Another doll quilt late 1700's

We loved the usual pattern in this applique quilt.  Donna hand quilted this top.  Her quilting is breathtaking!!

This is not a repo...the real deal!

Eastern PA applique and reverse applique

Judith loved this one c. 1840-1860

This post is getting a little heavy with photos.  I have more from Donna's quilts and also some from Sheila's miniatures.  Although, if you want to see great pictures of Sheila's quilts, check out her blog
I think everyone had a great time.  It was so nice to see Sheila and Vern again and meet Donna.  Thank you all for coming and sharing your quilts and time with us.
